Unlocked: The dangers of the digital era

We use our phones for practically everything in our daily life, whether it’s for watching shows, movies or buy things, calling for Uber, connecting with people all over the world. I think phone has truly become a necessity in our day to day life, but what happens when our phones become the reason why we are in danger? Terrifying to even think about it especially because our digital footprint is everywhere.

The movie that I am going to talk about today is ‘Unlocked’, a Korean thriller/horror film directed by Kim Tae-Joon.

This movie is scary to say the least, because imagine losing your phone and then you get your phone back but this time your phone has a hidden camera inside it and it can practically see everything that you are doing ok so that is terrifying and possibly the worst nightmare for everyone and this is what this movie is about.

I think it’s always thrilling and more exciting to watch the movie for yourself and see how the movie goes because the intensity of the movie just hits different so once again, I don’t want to give any spoilers for this movie. Therefore, if you want to go ahead and watch this movie then you should.

Actually I think this movie should be watched by everyone because it spreads awareness on the horrors of cyber-crime, hacking and so much more so the next time when you are too engrossed on your phones do try to think twice about what you are sharing on social media and who you give your phones too and take some time off from your devices, plus digital footprint is such a scary thing so please don’t over share on your social media platforms, because anything and everything that you do share on the internet will stay on the internet, so let’s stay safe and understand our world better outside of our digital life.

 I Saw the Devil "Revenge is a fools game"   but how would you act if your loved one is taken away by the devil himself. I saw the devil is a Korean film directed by Kim Jee Woon. It is a revenge film in which the protagonist goes on a rampage to search for the killer of his wife. Choi Min Sik who is the antagonist of the movie acts as a depraved and psychopathic serial killer having no remorse for any of the actions that he has committed.  The movie starts off with the protagonist wife, stuck in the middle of nowhere as her car gets broken down, the antagonist sees this as an opportunity to fulfill his sick desires.   Whiplash What happens when passion turns into obsession?  The obsession to become the greatest is not uncommon, often times we are consumed by the things that we want, overlooking the things that we need. Obsession kills passion slowly but surely; burnout strains the life out of you and leaves you disoriented.  Whiplash is a movie directed by Damien Chazelle.
