Seasons of Blossom: Most beautiful moments of our youth

"Oh, to be part of this youth forever."

Seasons of Blossom is a webtoon written by Hongduck and illustrated by Nemone. Seasons of Blossom is not a story of one particular protagonist alone but rather it includes the stories of various characters and each of which are assigned to a particular season. Each season focuses on a different character's perspective. This webtoon holds a really special place in my heart mainly because of how each characters feel so real, their problems and struggles are realistic, something that the youth of our generation can relate to.

The importance of each season lies on the fact that each season offers a very complex and multifaceted perspective of the characters so to understand the plot better I would like to explain each of the season's first and what they mean.

Spring, the season of blossoming flowers, symbolizing a new beginning. This season delves into the theme of a fresh start and first love. The story follows Bomi's flower who faces challenges to understand her feelings while always putting others over herself however as she faces such problems she eventually blooms into a new flower and falls in love. Overall, this season is a really fun and cute little story to read.

Ah Summer! Summer, the season of intensity, where passion flows all around despite the heat. Summer also indicates growth where nature is in full bloom, and everything just seems to be more vibrant and radiant. Seasons of Blossom undoubtedly made the best possible arc in the entire story, and it is the summer arc, delving into mental health and the struggles. This story follows Hamin's flower, Hamin a character who always gave his best despite the fact that he was struggling from within, in the end when he couldn't take the pain any longer, he commits suicide due to which the people around him are all unable to move on blaming themselves for his death. This season mainly follows the growth of the characters and moving on from the past.

Autumn, a season marking the end of summer and the beginning of winter, leaves falling off and plants decaying, perhaps the intensity is also lost during autumn but within autumn there is a certain kind of calmness that brings you peace almost nostalgic in a way. Similarly, in Seasons of Blossom, the autumn arc represents melancholy and nostalgia of the past.

Lastly, we come to winter, the coldest season of all just like its temperature the winter arc is also harsh in the webtoon following the themes of bullying in depth and overcoming all of it to enjoy the fruits of spring.

The storytelling in Seasons of Blossom is chefs kiss with each season representing a different story along with its beautiful artworks, this webtoon will surely capture your heart if you read it therefore do give it a try and enjoy the beautiful moments of your youth because time is fleeting.
